Network Support Specialist Level 1

Beograd, Srbija (Hybrid)

The role involves performing daily operational activities to ensure the availability and stability of customer infrastructure, including monitoring systems, handling incoming notifications and tickets, and providing first-level support across network, system, and software environments. The candidate will follow established procedures, respond to incidents, and escalate more complex issues to second-line support when necessary. 

Main duties: 

  • Remote pro- and re-active management of complex network infrastructures
  • Do day to day activities on the internal infrastructure for the hardware and software to secure the availability of the Customer infrastructure
  • Monitor the notification and ticket queue screens
  • React on 1st level incoming notifications
  • Handle incoming tickets
  • Software application support
  • Network (management) support
  • System and OS support
  • Perform the daily housekeeping tasks (EOD procedures etc)
  • Answer incoming phone (support request) calls
  • Engage 2nd line for unsolvable incidents
  • Update Knowledge article database
  • Kick-off Management notification/escalation process

What we expect from you:

  • Advanced knowledge of the English language
  • Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Understanding of computer hardware components
  • Basic knowledge of networking technologies
  • Analytical and problem-solving attitude
  • Exceptional customer service orientation and team spirit 
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts (7/24 operations that include weekend support)
