This role primarily focuses on overseeing the Quality Control of CAD drawings submitted by offshore drafting firms, ensuring they meet project-specific requirements. While hands-on drafting assistance may occasionally be required, the majority of the role involves coordinating with external drafting teams, providing clear guidance, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review CAD drawings submitted by offshore drafting firms for accuracy, consistency, and quality through Bluebeam software
- Receive and process CAD commercial survey results according to project instructions
- Survey Interpretation: Read and interpret precise survey notes to produce accurate drawings
- Transform surveys into 3D plans in model space and revise 3D redline drawings as needed
- Utilize AutoCAD (2010 or later) features, including model space, paper space, viewports, blocks, and plotting, to deliver precise results
- Act as the primary liaison with offshore drafting teams, ensuring project requirements and timelines are clearly communicated
- Work effectively in a team environment, providing constructive input and feedback to ensure project success
- Presentation of drafts to Clients
What we expect from you:
- Advanced knowledge of the English language
- Previous experience with Bluebeam software is an advantage
- Proficient with AutoCAD 2010 or later and Microsoft Applications
- Computer draft and design knowledge or equivalent work experience
- Relevant experience with a full understanding of concepts, practices, and procedures in preparing commercial floor plans
- Presentation skills
