This is an office-based position, responsible for supporting day-to-day IT operations at our client’s location, working closely with local, regional, and global business and IT stakeholders. You will be the key on-site IT contact, providing hands-on end-user and infrastructure support, while coordinating with global teams and vendors to ensure stable, secure, and efficient IT services in a hybrid working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
End-User & Executive Support
- Deliver hands-on IT support to end users and executives in a hybrid working environment
- Support PC laptops, desktops, and high-end engineering workstations, including full client staging, restoration, and recovery
Network, Telephony & Infrastructure Support
- Provide LAN/WAN network and telephony support
- Perform printer maintenance and troubleshooting
- Support network hardware and structured cabling implementations
- Manage site computer rooms and related IT infrastructure
Incident & Service Management
- Manage Help Desk incident resolution in line with service level agreements (SLAs)
- Identify, track, and resolve IT-related issues in coordination with regional and global IT teams
Security, Backup & Business Continuity
- Collaborate with Global Information Security (GIS) on information security initiatives, including virus protection, backups, recovery, and audits
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning and execution
Projects, Upgrades & Implementations
- Participate in IT project work, including real estate initiatives
- Coordinate IT upgrades, new implementations, refresh programs, and corporate real estate–driven expansions
- Oversee installation and maintenance of network, communications, and AV equipment
Vendor & Asset Management
- Oversee IT vendor relationships, including telecom services management and vendor procurement
- Conduct IT asset inventory management, stocktakes, and audits
Planning & Coordination
- Contribute to IT planning and program execution
- Oversee all IT components at the client’s location, including computer and hub rooms, PCs, network and telephony infrastructure, applications, executive office support, and telecom providers
Qualifications & Key Competencies:
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure and end-user support, including executive office support
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11, LAN/WAN, telephony systems, and network hardware (Cisco switches/routers)
- Hands-on experience with PCs, servers, and structured cabling implementations
- Solid understanding of DNS/DHCP, TCP/IP, and wired and wireless network technologies
- Ability to manage complex support issues across regional and global teams
- Experience in vendor management and communication with telecom providers
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Adaptable and proactive, comfortable working in a fast-changing environment with shifting priorities
- Self-driven, service-oriented, and able to work independently with a high degree of ownership
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in LAN/WAN and technical support
